Dog Training | New Hope, PA | Doylestown, PA | Newtown, PA | Lambertville, NJ
La Dolce Doggie offers individual training for those needing a helping hand with basic obedience commands and specific behavior issues. We use positive reinforcement techniques to build your dog’s confidence and that support your bond. Your dog’s job is to be your best friend: ours is to teach you how to get him that job!
La Dolce Doggie believes that training should be fun and pain-free. That’s why we use force-free methods. No yanking your dog into a sit or pushing him into a down. With proper technique, dogs can be taught just about anything…without the aid of a prong collar, instilling fear or any aggressive techniques. How do we do this? We motivate your dog to go to “work” and get “paid”! Having studied under the brilliant Jean Donaldson, I have had the opportunity to learn from the best of the best. Jean’s “Academy for Dog Trainers” is considered the Harvard of dog training schools! Dogs want to do the right thing…but, seeing that they are another species and all…it’s up to us to teach them what the right thing is! Together, we can improve your dog’s behavior and improve his confidence in an unpredictable world.
“Our Guarantee”
La Dolce Doggie guarantees that your dog will be trained in an ethical, humane way, using Positive Reinforcement techniques. We guarantee that our training methods are scientifically- backed. We guarantee a custom training plan for your dog. We guarantee that we will be honest and will engage your dog at a level that is achievable and safe, while working towards on-going behavioral improvement.
La Dolce Doggie does NOT, and can not guarantee anything other than the above mentioned statements. Dogs are living, breathing organisms and just like any other organism that “behaves”, we can not always predict HOW they will behave. What we can do is set the dog up for success and teach him or her how to be a proper housemate. Any trainer or organization which “guarantees” behavior is being dishonest and unethical, as behavior is not static and changes can result from any number of circumstances; including, but not limited to medical issues, environmental conditions and exposure to aversive stimuli.
